Whether mentoring inner city kids in Washington, DC, befriending refugees in Spokane, Washington, or orphaned children in Northern Uganda, Erica has focused personally and professionally on developing relationships with and serving those in need. In 2009, Erica developed the Uni?ed for UNIFAT (U4U) mentoring program for orphaned students at UNIFAT primary school in Gulu, Uganda. As the development coordinator at Spokane Youth for Christ (YFC), Erica engaged with staff, board members and donors to further the organization’s vision through strategic fundraising efforts. Erica also spent four years working on Capitol Hill for a US Senator as a research assistant for agriculture, nutrition and trade policy.
As the new Executive Director of Care Company, Erica is excited to work with local churches, ministries and individuals who are interested in exploring how God wants to transform and unite the community through the power of the Gospel.
